Tuning your Edelbrock carburetor is not as complicated as you may think, especially with an Edelbrock Performer Carb. Any adjustment errors can affect the entire engine and its performance. The Performer Carb can hold a tune and is available with either an electric or manual choke. The carburetor is compatible with “gasohol” and blended fuels, too. The all-aluminum two-piece body incorporates a gasket that is above the fuel level to prevent any leaking. Simple tub-type bowls and rear-pivot floats additionally provide reliable, user-friendly operation, while metering rods transition between circuits to prevent power valve blow-outs.
