Are Your Tires Ready for Summer?

Put Some Air In It

During the summer, the temperature of the road increases drastically. Combined with low pressure in your tires, your tires can actually overheat, increasing the possibility of a blowout.

Each month, your tires can lose about 1 psi. Remember to check the pressure in each tire (when they’re cold) and top off as necessary. Check your vehicle’s owner’s manual or the label located in the driver’s door jamb for the proper tire inflation pressure. Don’t use the number that’s located on the sidewall of your tire as it may not be sufficient for your vehicle.
