It’s Summer. Time to Check Fluid Levels.

Keep Those Fluids Flowing

It’s incredibly important to make sure that the fluids in your engine are at the appropriate levels. The fluids help lubricate systems and act as coolants as they carry heat away from vital components. If the levels get too low, that cooling effect reduces, which can result in overheating.

You should check your car’s fluid levels on a regular basis. Check the transmission, power-steering, and brake fluids, as well as the motor oil. Don’t forget the radiator coolant level, either. If they seem a bit low, top them off with the fluid type specified in your vehicle’s owner’s manual.
